Lettuce Trivia Time! »

Try This: Mullens Dressing

May 19, 2010 by Charity

With seasonal lettuce being so abundant right now, salads are a quick and easy solution for dealing with the produce. Some varieties of lettuce can be bitter, so look for a sweet dressing to balance. We personally like to use Mullens Imitation French dressing, which is light and has a tangy sweet flavor that goes perfect with summer salads. I also like to peel and cut cucumbers, allowing them to marinate in the dressing for a few hours, or overnight, and then serving as a simple cucumber salad. Very tasty! You can find this dressing and other items from the Mullen’s Line at stores here in Terre Haute, including Baesler’s.
